OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH POLICY

It is our policy to take every reasonable step to provide a safe and healthy place of work for each of our employees.  We shall maintain conditions and commit to eliminate hazards and reduce health and safety risks in which the health and safety of the public are not jeopardized as a result of our operations.

We shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to Occupational Safety and Health Act.

In conjunction with this policy, ‘safety and health awareness programmes’, ‘safety rules’ and ‘safe operating procedures’ shall be implemented and maintained.

Safety and health at workplace are both an individual and shared responsibility of all employees.  The following areas of responsibilities are essential to the success of this policy.

Top Management shall actively pursue the goals of our policy through:

• 1. Implementing comprehensive safety and health programs;
• 2. Holding regular ‘safety and health committee meetings’ to monitor safety and health performances; 
• 3. Consultation and participation of workers and workers’ representatives;
• 4. Take effective actions to maintain thus provide safe and healthy working conditions for all employees;
• 5. Provide the necessary resources so far as it is practicable as required under Section 15, OSHA 1994 Regulations of the Company's general duties;
• 6. Continual improvement of the health and safety management system.

Line Management and Supervisors shall be responsible for working conditions under their control. They shall provide initiatives and follow-up actions to maintain this policy within their respective workplaces.

All employees are responsible for their own safety and health and that of others while at work.  They shall cooperate with all parties concerned and comply strictly with all ‘safety and health awareness programmes’, ‘safety rules’ and ‘safe operating procedures’ as set out by the company.
